...I'm starting to believe I've made an error of judgement.
Okay, I'm being too easy on myself. I've definitely made an error of judgement. I'm not privy to what goes on with departments of justice and matters of guilt or innocence, but Mainline's little "friend" has been cleared of any wrongdoing. At least in this instance.
Which also means that his account of events was, at least to his perception, correct. Which means... Decepticons. Which means this little processor malfunction really is as bad as I was hoping it wasn't.
It also means the two of them may have actually been as close as the little one claimed. If I was more committed to proving myself right I'd say that meant Mainline had been the one lying, but... That kind of stubbornness hasn't gotten me anywhere good in life.
It looks like Mainline's short-term memory loss isn't as short-term as I thought.
I'm not good at talking to people, I'll admit that much. I'm too self-centered. Can't see outside my own head sometimes. But I've failed these bots once now, and I'm not going to let myself do it again.
It's time for me and Mainline's friend to have a real chat.
