Well, he's awake.
Just when I was starting to believe his "friend" about the "attack," Mainline wakes up and says he's got no clue who the little bot by his side is. Says he wants him gone, now. Happy to comply with that... the little guy was kind of creepy. I think they've got him in questioning now.
Anyway, Mainline is surprisingly cooperative for someone with mild brain damage. He's responding well to testing, seems aware of his surroundings and almost fully alert at least 70% of the time. Fairly slow reaction time, but that's to be expected.
The main notable issue so far is memory storage. Simply put, he's forgetful. Unpredictably so. Most of the time he has a good grasp of where he is (not that it's hard to tell by looking) and seems to remember most of his past. Doesn't know much about current events, but that seems to be indicative of a lack of interest more than a failure to remember. But he just woke up this morning and I've had to tell him my name about 25 separate times.
To be clear, I don't typically put so much emphasis on my own designation: he just keeps asking.
It's exhausting.
I almost preferred the other bot. At least he was quiet.
