KNOWN ISSUES (INTERNAL):

Patient initially recovered by a small team responding to a distress signal heard in the Exsequor system near Utrorum-2. As the patient was unconscious at the time, the signal is assumed to have been sent by the other individual present at the scene, whose statement affirms this.

Patient's external injuries are surprisingly mild. This presents a strong contrast to his internals, namely his processors, which are presenting a multitude of errors. Enough so that, combined with the (relative) lack of notable physical injury, I would be almost inclined to call this some sort of virus or malfunction, if not for the rather insistent testimony of the other bot present that there was some sort of Decepticon attack.

Why exactly the Decepticons would bother attacking two neutrals out in the middle of nowhere, and leave both of them almost completely unharmed, I have no clue. But I've never claimed to understand just what goes on in the head of a Decepticon.

Mainline's little friend has been very insistent about staying by his side now that he's done being checked over himself. I've decided to allow it in this instance, despite the breach in protocol. There's a lot we don't know about this patient, since he seems to have spent so much time outside Autobot jurisdiction... It's worthwhile to have someone who knows him well around, even if I've got half a mind to assume that all this was that other bot's fault somehow.

Blow to the head during an argument, mild brain damage setting off some sort of latent processor issue, instant regret, distress call...? Who knows. It doesn't matter, anyway, and it's far from being my problem.

For now, priority one is waking him up.
